Christopher Moore comes up with some of the most fascinating plot and entertaining bunnies I've ever read. Sacre Bleu aims for and perfectly strikes at all my weaknesses : Montmartre and its undeniably colorful denizens, mystical mumbo jumbo, and extra hilarious dialogue on the side.
And love. I am a sucker for love, and this book is about more than just the kinds of love two, three, or any combination of people can feel for one another. This book deals with love for romance, love for Montmartre, love for the beauty and art in life. You may have to break through a thick crust of self-deprecating humor and a fair amount of lewd jokes, but it's all there.
